Having Dr. Killian do my reverse shoulder replacement was one of the best decisions I've made. One I wish I has made sooner. He is a kind, thoughtful person who gave me the reassurance I needed. It is six weeks since surgery and I am pain free and well on my way with range of motion.

Age 77, had right shoulder rotator cuff surgery. Dr. Kilian explained the operation thoroughly and the recovery. Surgery went better than expected, I now have full range of motion and will be starting strength therapy shortly. I recommend Dr. Kilian for anyone that needs shoulder surgery.

At 67 years old ... I had to have a Shoulder Replacement ... I can't say enough about my surgery / recovery ... It was surprisingly a fast recovery. I wish I would have done this sooner. I don't know why I was afraid and waited so long to have this done. I would totally recommend Dr. Kilian, he was excellent through the whole process. 10 out of 10. Thank you Dr. Kilian, and staff.

Dr. Killian is the surgeon I've selected to do my surgery when the time is right. He was informative, helpful, and assured me that he has trained with the best surgeons in his field, I found him enthusiastic and eager to help me with his talents and skill, to get me to a pain free and productive level of life again. Dr. Kilian was very good at explaining my injury to me. He told me what would happen if I did surgery and if I didn't. I chose to do the surgery. After the surgery he described the damage he found and how he repaired it, respecting that I have a bit of knowledge of anatomy. During my follow-up appointments he checked my progress by assessing my x-rays, function, and PT. I trust Dr. Kilian and would return to him any time I needed shoulder intervention.

I was very concerned about my torn rotator cuff and how it has limited my function and movement. Dr Kilian listened to my story, examined me thoroughly and then explained the surgical procedure he recommended. His explanations were clear and understandable and he answered all my questions. As a former orthopedic nurse I felt very lucky to have found him. I am confident going into surgery that I will get a good outcome. I will recommend him whenever anyone asks me for a good ortho doctor.

Broke my hip at the ripe old age of 28, and he fixed me up and got me moving again. Follow up visits showed everything was doing well. I now have a nice piece of metal in me!

After a terrible experience with another surgeon, who would not acknowledge that I had gotten worse I went to see Dr. Killian. He immediately ordered the correct diagnostic exams and discovered ALL of my issues with my right shoulder. He scheduled surgery and my results are to date----FANTASTIC!! Dr. Killian follows up on you, he is reserved in his rehab system and that helps with an older patient and ensures a better recovery without re-injury to the shoulder. I couldn't be happier!!

Dr. Killian did my shoulder replacement surgery in April and I was off pain meds in 2 days he did a wonderful job and my physical therapy is ahead of schedule.....I would recommend him to anyone looking for surgery

First visit with CK. I had excellent experiences on other issues with several of his colleagues in his group. Referred me to him for his specialty, shoulder issues. After listening to my concerns he explained the options which would be available, clearly and in layman’s terms. I am very comfortable recommending him with very high marks.

Dr. Kilian replaced my left shoulder in December '17. Everything went as smoothly as he promised. Minimal pain and a smooth recovery. I would certainly recommend him. And, he took Medicare.

Had rotator cuff repair. Very knowledgable and professionl. Was off pain control in less than a week. BaCK to almost normal by 4 months. No complications. Also has a great sense of humor.Would highly recommend him.

Dr. Kilian replaced my total left shoulder about seven weeks ago and I am completely satisfied. It was a remarkably easy surgery, taking a little over 90 minutes. I stayed one night in the hospital and he saw me the next morning. I saw him again about a week or so later when I also had x-rays. He checked everything out and I was progressing well. I go to therapy about once a week and complete my exercises at home. Other than sensitivity at the incision site, I have had no pain. Amazing!

Dr Kilian performed a shoulder repair involving one detached muscle and several tears. He was professional from the beginning and truly cared that everything was done to ensure the best outcome possible, from the pre-op procedures to the post op physical therapy. I would highly recommend Dr Kilian to anyone needing any type of shoulder repair.

I suffered what was apparently a rare shoulder injury, and Dr. Kilian fixed me right up with care and an engaging manner. 5/5 would break my shoulder so he could fix it again.

I highly recommend Dr. Christopher Kilian if you are experiencing shoulder issues. I had surgery ten years ago and my shoulder was bothering me again. On recommendation of my PT I made an appointment with Dr. Kilian. He was kind, understanding, and explained all my options. I chose surgery and have been extremely pleased with my results. I appreciate the fact that he is conservative and believes in a slow and steady recovery program. I feel that I am going to be better than I have been in the past ten years.

Hope I never need any more help but I couldn't have asked for a better Dr.

Dr. Kilian is an excellent doctor who listens and communicates very well. He is obviously very knowledgeable and explains his diagnosis so you understand your condition and what options are available to you.

I find Dr Kilian a most wonderful doctor. I had shoulder replacement 6 weeks ago and am doing great. He takes the time to explain things and to answer all your questions. He has a great “bedside manner”. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Dr. Kilian is an outstanding surgeon, very honest and straightforward. I had massive tears in my rotator cuff. Dr. Kilian explained the results from the MRI and the complete surgical procedure. My surgery went just as explained and the results are great. Therapy and recovery are ahead of schedule and I have full range of motion.

I recommend Dr. Chris Kilian. He strictly does shoulder surgeries and is very skilled and compassionate. I learned that he has studied under a world renown surgeon in Houston TX. My experience after my shoulder surgery was very good. I was able to drive and return to work within 2 weeks after surgery. Now after 2 mos. I continue PT but I feel excellent. My range of motion has returned 90%. I do not have pain.

Dr. Killian has a great bedside manner. He is an excellent surgeon and over all doctor. He’s the most personable physician I’ve ever had. He’s informative and made sure I understood everything about my surgery and recovery. He was always very prompt for all my appts and the surgery which went as expected. He’s my go to doctor for any issue with my shoulders.

Dr. Killian performed a total shoulder replacement on me 4 weeks ago. During my initial visit, he appeared to be very knowledgeable and competent. Explained everything to me very well. I left that appointment feeling I would be in excellent hands. Surgery went well, and Dr. Killian’s kindness and concern for me has been evident. My recovery and therapy are on schedule. Dr. Kilian at OAW (Orthopaedics of Wisconsin) is easy and pleasant to speak too and was very thorough in the evaluation of my shoulder. He explained the procedure and was upfront in the length of recovery. Through the surgery and physical therapy and OAW, the healing process is proceeding as planned. After six months I have 95% motion and no soreness anywhere. In a few months I expect to have full recovery and start golfing again. I highly recommend Dr. Kilian and OAW physical therapy for new surgery or the repair of previous surgeries by other others that have not turned out as expected.

When I broke my femur, Dr. Kilian did the emergency surgery that put me back together again. He did a wonderful job and I consider myself very lucky that this skilled and kind man was available to help me.

After breaking my collar bone, Dr. Kilian was instrumental in providing a skillful hand in surgery, providing answers to my many questions both pre and post op, and providing support post-op. His genuine concern for my healing is most evident. I certainly feel that I'm in good hands with a knowledgable, talented doctor.

Mine was not an elective surgery I was struck by a car while i was walking Dr Kilian a caring highly educated & dedicated Dr was assigned to my shattered shoulder with a reverse replacement He did an awesome job. I am doing better that I ever expected . Thank you Dr Kilian.
